Overview

CPL-CPR plots prior-period price levels (such as the previous close or a computed pivot range) forward into the current session, giving you a fixed reference frame carried over from the prior period.

What's covered

  • CPL (Composite Profile Left) — A composite profile drawn on the left-hand side of the main chart, built from a period of data you select rather than from the bars currently in view.
  • CPR (Composite Profile Right) — The same tool drawn on the right-hand side. The settings are identical to those of the CPL; the only difference is which side of the main chart the profile appears on.
  • Why run a composite profile — It adds a second layer of data next to the chart already on screen, so you can read a longer or different period alongside the one you are trading without changing the main chart.
  • Toggling each side independently — CPL and CPR each have their own "Show CPL/CPR" checkbox and their own settings, so you can run one side, both, or neither.
