Limit Order

A limit order places an order at a specified price.

To place a standard limit order:

Order Form → Limit tab
Quantity → Value greater than 0
Price → Enter a limit price
Action → Select Buy / Long or Sell / ShortLimit

Limit Order Toggles:

Post – Ensures the order is placed as a maker. If the order would execute immediately, it is cancelled.

Reduce – Reduces an existing position when executed. Requires an open position.

Cond. – Creates a conditional order using a trigger price. The limit order is placed only after the trigger price is reached.

TP/SL – Sets a take profit and or stop loss after the order is executed.


Market Order

A market order executes immediately at the best available price.

To place a standard market order:

Order Form → Market tab
Quantity → Value greater than 0
Action → Select Buy / Long or Sell / Short

Market Order Toggles:

Reduce – Reduces an existing position when executed. Requires an open position.

Cond. – Creates a conditional market order using a trigger price.

TP/SL – Sets a take profit and or stop loss after the order is executed.

Conditional

A conditional order is triggered when the market reaches a specified price.

To place a conditional market order:

Order Form → Market tab
Cond. → Enabled
Trigger Price → Enter the desired trigger price
Action → Select Buy / Long or Sell / Short

Once the trigger price is reached, the market order is executed automatically.
