Overview
REKT plots exchange-reported liquidations directly on the chart as colored bubbles — red for long liquidations and green for short liquidations.
What's covered
- Open the REKT settings — right-click the chart → Chart Settings → REKT; all liquidation controls live in that category.
- Turn on Show REKT (Liquidations) — plots liquidation bubbles at the price and time they occurred; red bubbles mark long liquidations, and green bubbles mark short liquidations.
- Set the background color — the bubble/background color for liquidation markers is fully customizable, independent of the red/green convention, if you want it to match your broader chart theme.
- Circle auto-size — with auto-size on, the bubble radius scales relative to nearby liquidations, so a $50,000 liquidation appears visibly larger than a $5,000 one; turning it off lets you set a fixed max radius instead.
- Short numbers — abbreviates large liquidation totals (e.g., 8,945 instead of the full figure) to keep bubbles readable when several land close together.
- Data reliability caveat — the presenter is explicit that liquidation data quality varies by exchange: Bybit's feed is called out as the most reliable in his own testing, while exchange-reported liquidation data in general can be inconsistent in exactly where it places bubbles. Treat REKT as a supporting signal, not a precise record.
