Overview

The two settings tabs control how the chart looks and behaves, and what data is shown in the info bars around it.

What's covered

  • Set the chart background gradient — the background is drawn as a bottom-to-top gradient, and the full-height option stretches that gradient across the entire chart area instead of just the lower portion. Purely visual.
  • Set the order-flow data limit — this determines how much order-flow data the chart holds in memory. Raise it if you're loading years of history and have the RAM to spare; lower it if performance is a problem.
  • Toggle OI (open interest) data — turns on open interest data for the chart on markets that support it.
  • Indicator scale padding and indicator title colors — the two indicator-related display options in the Chart tab; this video only shows where they live in Chart Settings.
  • Crosshair behavior — determines whether the crosshair moves freely with the mouse or snaps to each cluster/tick as you move across the chart.
  • Global cursor vs. send/receive per chart — the global setting syncs the crosshair across every open chart; the per-chart send/receive toggle gives finer control over which specific charts share cursor position with each other.
  • Choose the top info fields — the top info bar reports the candle your cursor is on, and these boxes decide which of OHLC, volume, delta, and buys/sells it shows.
  • Style the top info bar — background color, font size, and separate up/down colors that tint the readout depending on whether the candle closed up or down.
  • The filter indicator — shown in the top info bar when a minimum trade-size filter is active on the chart, so you can tell at a glance that the data you're looking at is filtered.
  • Choose the bottom info fields — the bottom bar can show tick size, time zone, active session, a watermark, and an on-chart timer.
  • Memory-usage readout — also part of the bottom bar, it reports how much memory the current chart is using, which is useful when troubleshooting performance.
