Overview
The full TPO configuration pass: general TPO settings first, then the color/opacity/letter styling that determines how a profile actually looks on screen.
What's covered
- Enable TPO — Turns on the TPO chart type for the current chart; it does the same thing as the TPO toggle button in the top-left corner, so you can switch profiles on without leaving the settings panel.
- TPO tick size — Sets the tick size used to build TPO rows from the settings panel instead of the chart toolbar, so the profile can be made coarser or finer independently of where you normally change ticks.
- Naked POC lookback — Controls how many prior sessions the platform scans to keep extending untested ("naked") points of control, initial balances, and value areas forward — set high (up to 500) if you want maximum historical POC context, lower if you only care about recent, local levels.
- Open/close markers — Each profile can show an arrow and/or a colored cluster marking where that session opened and closed — commonly configured as a green open marker and a red close marker so session direction is readable at a glance across many profiles.
- Color mode: mono vs. heat map — Mono color mode lets you set one (or two — inside/outside value area) fixed colors for the whole profile; heat map mode shades letters by recency or volume, so the "hottest" area of the session stands out — pick whichever mode matches how you actually read a profile.
- Letter and profile opacity — Independently adjustable — lowering profile opacity while keeping letters solid is the recommended combination when you also have a delta cluster enabled, so the cluster data underneath the TPO letters stays visible.
- Cluster fading — Shades letters based on time or volume recency within the session (e.g., the most recent letters print brightest) — an optional layer on top of mono or heat-map coloring, off by default and mainly useful if you want a visual sense of session progression at a glance.
